Judas Priestess

Are you ready to feel the noise? Ready to get rocked brutally by 4 of the most talented hard edged women than meets the metal??? Get ready for Judas Priestess–the all girl tribute to the metal Gods of rock–Judas Priest!

“We are the ONLY tribute band where the singer has recorded a song with the singer that they’re tributing!  Check out “PUSH COMES TO SHOVE” by supergroup Bad Penny featuring Rob Halford and Militia Vox!” said Militia. “We have always done things differently from the traditional tribute model- we don’t try to look just like the band that we’re tributing, we don’t do male to female name likenesses – I’m not “Roberta Halford” but we do honor and interpret the music of Judas Priest in the most kick-ass way we know how.”

And when it comes to paying tribute to the Gods of metal, Judas Priest, Militia says the band goes beyond legendary to all time iconic metal rock bands of all time. “Judas Priest is the ultimate metal band.  Their 50-year catalog is brilliant- musically both technical and succinct.  Lyrics are Shakespearian.  Vocal agility is gymnastic. Style- iconic and forever imitated. Imagery- the coolest of the cool.” Gyda Gash added, ” Priest has it all. Their diverse catalog’s got something for everybody! A little speed-metal, a bit of math metal, some blues-based 70s vintage riffage, straight ahead hard rockin’ tunes….all invigorating to play and bang your head to. The more complex the music and arrangements, the more we like the challenge.  “I have always dug the S & M studded leather outfits.” We are the antithesis of a typical tribute band. Each one of us is an accomplished musician in her own right. Each member is a star. This band explodes with authenticity and audiences can feel it when they see us perform. We have fans that tattooed our logo on their flesh, ones that printed collectible trading cards with our photos, fans that travel across the country to come to a show.”

Judas Priestess hail from New York City forming in 2009 with over a decade of hard hitting in your face shows spanning the globe and heading full steam ahead post pandemic featuring Militia Vox on vocals, Gyda Gash on bass, Hillary Blaze on drums, Rena Sends Petrucci on lead guitar and Josette on lead guitar.

Judas Priestess have been featured at several high profile bike week events, are the only all female Judas Priest tribute band in the world, but have also opened for the likes of Twisted Sister, Metal Allegiance, and Action Bronson, been joined by several notable musicians including L7, John Petrucci, been featured on Howard Stern and gaining fans worldwide are now on tour in the United States and ready to rock your socks off….you got another thing coming style!

In addition, Judas Priestess have overcome the stereotypes that women can’t put their pedal to the metal like men. “It means being ourselves without compromise.  If who we are naturally breaks stereotypes- great!  Stereotypes are like rules- they’re meant to be broken . Challenging the norms in heavy metal and music as a whole- making people understand who we are as artists through the filter of the legendary Judas Priest.  Taking something that is established, known and loved and re-channeling it through an aggressively feminine lens.” Gyda said, “A dominatrix persona. It means changing the world as it is now and how it will be in the future. None of us assume a quintessential woman’s role in life. We do not feel inferior to men and we don’t depend on them. (that doesn’t mean we don’t love them LOL)”

Get ready for Judas Priestess! This is one show/performance you need to put on your must do list!

Expect to be ROCKED! says Militia. Gyda confirms, “Balls to the wall non-stop fempower energy! We are the antithesis of a typical tribute band.

“I would love for us to do an original song and tour new and exciting places.” says Militia. “We’ve already made rock history! Gyda said, “We have already made history – rather HERstory – and look forward to making even more!”
